The behavior of key executives. The inability or unwillingness to take necessary decisions. The proximity to a particular political party. The unworthy treatment of older colleagues. I could go on and on.

If there is no change at the leadership, RBI is broken beyond repair.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
If you don´t have contact with the management board and always use the latest buzzwords like "holistic", "disruptive", "journey", "GenAI", you may muddle through. If you have a backbone and moral standards, then it quickly becomes very toxic.
Kommunikation
OK on the surface. There are many communication formats. If you have an insight into what is really going on and how the key people at the top of the company think and act, it turns your stomach.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Still good in some divisions and departments. However, the latest narrative in the bank is that the old high earners are blocking their young colleagues' chances of earning a good income. My impression is that the company is deliberately pitting young against old.
Work-Life-Balance
Ok in my case, however there are a lot of departments with high burn out rates.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
There are still some decent B-1s. However, their number is decreasing....and if you have to present something in the board meeting and the board members are in a bad mood (which is quite often the case), they go at you like hyenas. Experienced leaders therefore do not take young colleagues to board meetings so as not to scare them off.
Interessante Aufgaben
The unsolved topic regarding a certain market in the east paralyzes everything and the board is too weak to make decisions to finally solve the issue

We have finally a female board member, however there is still a long way to go.

To sum it up "disgusting".
Arbeitsbedingungen
If you are young and naive, you might be impressed. However, after 2 or 3 years you recognize and feel the toxic patterns.

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Still good, however the Board just canceled the company agreement on the social benefits.
