Good working culture here. International atmosphere.
No doubt, the war in UA has put the bank not in the best light. Things could have been handled in a better way although some of the media reporting definitely is unfair.
Nevertheless - RBI is an international and quite dynamic bank so things will change.
Very subjective obviously, but in my environment I hear no complaints. For me personally, all is good.
No issues here - I have not experienced any problems getting a training if needed/wanted or going to a conference.
RBI has now also a well thought out career path for software engineers that surely is comparable to IT companies. I find this a huge improvement for people who don't want to move into people management.
I see competitive salaries and quite generous benefits (canteen, kindergarten, job ticket, etc...). No complaints.
In IT, there is quite good collaboration across the group

International environment, great for exapts, salaries in line with Austrian market standard, good corporate benefit package.
Extremely limited career opportunities. Budgets being cut every year. Salary increase very cumbersome process. Almost no budget for seminars, trainings etc. Not perfect fit for very ambitious people.
Performance based salary models. Currently all employees are treated the same - good and bad performers.

There used to be a lot of employee benefits, such as discounted vouchers, discounts to different partners, jobticket etc as well as a canteen with really great and cheap food - a reason for which I believe I held on for so long :) I do not know what the status is at the moment however!
Upper management does not really care about what lower management is doing and how they choose to manage their staff, as long as there are no profit losses. I believe that this practice is not really ok, as there are multiple departments with high employee turnover rates due to poor management, which could be easily avoided if more attention was paid to the people working there and not just the profit that these people bring!
Improve management practices! There are a lot of managers out there having no business managing personnel. I believe that this was a breaking point and a reason for which I quit the company.
