Hire diverse people and ensure leaders are truly fit to lead. Don’t think all is great just because people do not speak up. The environment punishes those who speak up.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
There are some interesting projects and smart colleagues, but the German leadership team is running the business like their personal vanity project. BrightHouse is selling Purpose, yet inside there is little respect for junior colleagues and only those who suck up to MDs enough will get ahead. At times, the workload can be extreme in a typical hierarchical working environment.

Depends on the topic. Generally there is very little context provided, especially regarding hiring & firing decisions.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Limited, people are mostly afraid to speak up. Those who do will not be around for long.

Depends on the project and the team you are working with.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
People in leadership positions are not qualified to lead. They apply an old-school way of management in which they want to be glorified. Over the years they have systemically let go qualified people to bring in others (often from their personal networks) who are loyal to them and will not speak up.
Gleichberechtigung
There is little to no diversity in the Berlin office any more. It used to be a mix of people with different backgrounds and stories. Now it is white.
