Company

Our client is a leading supplier of automotive technology products. The company is currently looking for an Engineer for the branch in Stuttgart area.

Depending on the experience, a start in a higher position as well as in a junior position for career starters is possible.

Your tasks

You will join the engineering team and participate in product design and development activities. Your tasks will include:

  • Collaborate with European OEMs, suppliers, and cross-functional teams to develop innovative, cost-effective solutions and technical recommendations as well as ensuring that quality standards are met

  • Coordinate with customers to gather feedback, clarify specifications, and ensure satisfaction.

  • Perform testing, evaluation, and feasibility studies of automotive components (for example Sunroofs, Pneumatic seats, Power back doors, Grill shutter, Auto doors and more) to ensure industry compliance.

  • Utilize design software (CATIA-V5, Siemens NX) for product design and modification.

  • Support the improvement of engineering processes and provide technical assistance throughout the product lifecycle.

  • Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and regulations in automotive engineering.

Your Profile

  • Completed University degree or vocational training, preferably in the engineering field

  • First engineering experience necessary, preferably in the automotive field

  • Customer communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, suppliers and customers

  • Experience with design software such as CATIA-V5 or Siemens NX

  • Knowledge and understanding of design and production of automotive components welcome

  • Language skills: English fluent, Japanese and German skills very welcome

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
