IT Operations Lead - Driving 5G Innovation in Europe

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an IT Operations Lead to support their European region. In this key role, you will implement global IT strategies locally, providing robust support to engineering teams focused on software, hardware, and chip development.

• Execute the client’s global IT initiatives in Europe, ensuring alignment with regional and engineering needs.
• Lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT systems and network infrastructure, with a focus on stability, scalability, and security.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams specializing in software, firmware, hardware, and chip design to meet their IT and DevOps needs.
• Oversee the management of local data centers, procure and deploy IT resources, and coordinate with external IT service providers.
• Ensure secure, effective collaboration with external partners and compliance with regional regulations.

• Degree in IT, computer science, or relevant field experience in IT infrastructure and operations.
• Proven expertise in network systems, DevOps, and infrastructure management in dynamic, high-growth environments.
• Proficiency in Linux/UNIX systems administration, automation scripting (Bash, Python), and familiarity with Docker/Kubernetes.
• Experience with self-hosted tools like GitLab, Bugzilla, or Jama is advantageous; familiarity with EDA tools is a plus.
• Excellent communication skills, with experience managing IT across multiple international locations.
