Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich

I learned a lot and I had quite a lot of freedom very early in my career so I appreciate the trust.

Schlecht am Arbeitgeber finde ich

Too many things which I mentioned several times but worst is that nobody cares and people who don’t care at all and who don’t have any Skills get promoted over everyone who works very hard to do every day. It’s not about how much bullshit you tell your superiors every day but what you accomplish, it shows enough dedication.

Arbeitsatmosphäre

Very torn because in a leading position you can influence work environment yourself a lot, for me it was always great to work with my team but I know for majority of people it’s very hard and not nice to work there. If you want to create a nice work environment as a leading figure you face many difficulties which are not necessary what happened to me.

Kommunikation

Communication is okay but often not good enough. Many decisions are simply taken and you need to deal with and make best out of it with no say at all.

Kollegenzusammenhalt

Had the best team/ teams which I ever had. Bear in mind you might have to change stores/ teams every 6 months what might affect you, for me it was unbearable in the end because my team was the reason why I was still there

Work-Life-Balance

Not really existent, you can leave on time and if you do your job good nobody will say anything but usually everyone is doing overtime always because it’s not possible to finish everything in your working hours

Vorgesetztenverhalten

Had one area manager who was very fair despite of my complaints about issues in the company, otherwise I could only see favoritism, people getting promoted without having accomplishments/ skills to various positions just because of being friends with some people and other talented people either leaving or just suffering still

You learn a lot and you are given a lot of freedom and support, I appreciate this a lot!

We used to give everyone a chance, doesn’t matter at all what you did before and who you are.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

We didn’t have that money but to be fair it’s still retail and really hard if you’re older.

Arbeitsbedingungen

Questionable. When I joined it was very dangerous for everyone working there especially in the stockroom (boxes of 10kg falling on you) Thankfully it improved but still working conditions are unbearable, way too many people for so many tasks, got worse and worse very year

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Everything in plastic, delivery is a joke, even if you feedback no change at all and makes you sick when seeing amount of plastic

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Quite good salary and bonus structure that’s why a lot of people still stay

Good image but often like this unless you have had a look on the inside of the company and you realize it’s not justified

Karriere/Weiterbildung

It’s okay, it’s very clearly communicated with certain rules/ tests but rules are bend for people who are favoured by people in charge, very unfair system in the end that has gotten worse over the years with some people in charge
