Work life balance is not really given. More flexibility for mobile working possibilities and salary shall be comparable with other competitors in Germany. No guarantee to have a job in the future is given by HR and management. Give an bonus not only to managers.

Try to hold the existing knowledge and experience as long as possible inside the company. Be comparable with your competitors about social benefits , let participate all employees for the company success like German OEMs and other competitors.

Typical for automotive Tier 1 supplier - high workload and always under pressure leads to stressful working life
Kommunikation
Communication from management is good and always positive opportunities to be leader in the next growing business. Inside the office and local leadership the communication is not sufficient.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Inside the different departments in Karlsruhe is good. Project teams are splittet over different countries and entities, which makes it difficult to act as one team.
Work-Life-Balance
Due to restructuring in the last years, to much work for too less employees.
Only customer interfaces are needed. Engineering is not valid anymore in Karlsruhe. If you are interested to work around the clock nobody will stop you.

Most of the leaders want to get their Boni and long term incentives. Therefore they push their team members to be effective. As long you are helpful you have had a lot of freedom in your daily business
Interessante Aufgaben
Very interesting products, but no development anymore in Karlsruhe. Just handling German customers and solving problems for the other colleagues.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Most of the older employees, have to leave the company in the last years. Experience and knowledge from older employees which stay several years inside Visteon have been not appreciated nor paid for.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Office environment is good. Mobile office for 2 days per week was allowed. Standard in automotive area is only 1 or 2 days being at the office. HR is controlling the attendance.

In general good.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
If you do not negotiate a very good salary in the beginning or become a manager with Bonus, car allowance and long term share bonus, you will loose money every year in comparison to other competitors in the market. The last years, normal salary increase was 1/2 or nothing in comparison to others. No corona bonus or inflation bonus sponsored by the German government have been paid.
Shareholders, leadership and managers get the best additional salary ever in Visteon. Normal employees loose a lot of money in real life.

Only online trainings in English are offered. In order to do the next step in your career, you need to be very good linked with the right persons inside Visteon. Knowledge and experience is not needed to do the next step in your career.
