Arbeitsatmosphäre
Kinda hard to evaluate. On the one hand, everyone is nice and friendly. On the other hand, if someone (especially supervisors) want something to strengthen their position, it can be ugly.
Kommunikation
Over-communication (via emails) with very little informational benefits.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Colleagues, that are at idealo for long, stick to each other. Rather hard, to find a place in there.
Work-Life-Balance
To be honest: You can be super very lazy and no one will recognize it. I had to reschedule dozens of meetings, because the participants had to take care of their children. That's super good, but it also is a real blocker for operational work. All in all: everything goes, nobody cares.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Horrible. Most of the supervisors owned their position due to period of employment. And most of them are not aware of the minimal leadership standards. Essentially, they all want to strengthen their position, the team only matters, when something needs to be delivered. And in the worst case, this work will be used by supervisors to promote themselves. Never really experienced such an immaturity on leadership level.
Interessante Aufgaben
You have to go find them. There is no plan how to involve experts in certain topics. If you sit and wait, you wait. Most of the work you have to pull. Unless a supervisor pushes for something. (see "Vorgesetztenverhalten").

Super modern office, everything is plug and play. Only 4 stars because there is rather no place for quite qork.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
There are two sides: The company itself pushes for it. Which is also problematic, because the management evangelizes for personal beliefs, which should never be the case. The other side is the business, and here idealo is not sustainable at all.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
My salary was good and there are plenty of benefits.

Given supervisors are super mindful about saving their position, there are few possibilities, unless you stay 5+ years.
