Arbeitsatmosphäre

The development team itself is great and they do their best to deliver a great product; however, the management puts a really bad smell on the air all the time. In my opinion and based on my experience, the management team doesn't trust the development teams at all and then there is micro-management issue. I think there are some serious issues there which needs to be handled as soon as possible! As long as you do not interact anyone else outside the development team, then you will have a great atmosphere.
or if you are into Spanish telenovelas, then you gonna love the atmosphere!

Kommunikation

It was promised and tried for a few times to inform the employees regarding to the news about the company, partners, results etc., but every single time they have failed. After a few weeks or a few months they would completely forget about the rest of the people working at the company. Newsletters were promised, but stopped sending after a while, and the company meetings, which were supposed to be held once per month, started to be held once/twice per year.. Have never seen such an unprofessional management team..

Kollegenzusammenhalt

As mentioned before as long as you are in a dev team and don't need to contact anyone else outside of the dev teams, you are good to go!

Work-Life-Balance

I would say the work life balance is great! You are not expected to do a lot of over hours or to work on the weekends.

Vorgesetztenverhalten

In general, I would say that the dev teams' leads are pretty easy going, knowledgeable and collaborative with the developers. The collaboration among the development teams is really good, but unfortunately that wouldn't help you if there is a problem with the management. Once your problems are related to the management itself and if that day comes, you will be left alone on your own! I wish everybody was brave and would talk against unfairness, but unfortunately that's not the case!

Interessante Aufgaben

The technology being developed at INS Insider Navigation Systems is cutting edge and they are welcoming news ideas from the developers and put them in action. The tasks are pretty interesting and sometimes challenging. You could get hands on latest hardware such stereo cameras etc. and work with the latest dev technologies.

Gleichberechtigung

if you are Dutch or speak Dutch, you will be very well welcomed... No discrimination or something else other than having those benefits... I also felt like there was not much respect for people not celebrating Christmas and so on as they wanted to shut down the company regardless of people wanting to take days of or not.

Umgang mit älteren Kollegen

The elderly people could definitely be hired. They would be treated the same way as young people. However the team consists of young people due to the current new technologies and so on. Long-serving or not, everybody is treated exactly the same way. However, once you decide to leave the company, you would become no one for them, so act accordingly and wisely.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The hardware provided is usually great! But if it happens that your hardware gets damaged, you might need to fight to get a new laptop or even sometimes an external drive to backup your data. The office could get pretty hot in summer. Some air cons have been bought which are pretty loud, but does the job.. The kitchen and the restrooms are sometimes left pretty dirty (like reallyyyy dirty) when the office gets crowded with all the other employees!

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

The company itself didn't really provide garbage separation, but development team itself took care of that. So, my 1 star goes to the company itself, and i would rate the people who took care of that with 5 stars :)

Gehalt/Sozialleistungen

Imho, the salaries are lower than the market and different people working in the same position could have quite different salaries. The salaries were always paid in time. if you are promised anything, make sure to have that written and signed!

No training or career opportunities at all, but there is quite some room to develop yourself and gain new skills!
