Do you have experience in EdTech or ICT selling technology into the education sector? If so, Power Technologies has a great opportunity for you!  Power Technologies is seeking a highly motivated individual to act as an International Sales Manager, focused on managing and growing distribution, resellers and end-user customers within the Education and Commercial (manufacturing, logistics, healthcare, etc.) markets.  This role will provide exceptional relationship management, education, and ongoing training to achieve mutual pipeline acceleration and revenue growth within the distribution network. The International Sales Manager works to build account loyalty with the goal of long-term account retention, providing product/solution positioning, quotation/RFP support, order management, education/training, and order analysis to maximize selling opportunities driving sales volumes and margins positioning Power Technologies as a preferred vendor. This position will have a business development focus, building relationships with our global channel partners, resellers and end-users.

This position is located remotely in Germany.

Tasks

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build New Distribution, Reseller and end-user partnerships specifically in EdTech or Information and Communication Technology.

  • Interface with resellers and representatives to provide education, assistance with sales process to end user, resolve problems, build relationships, develop referral network maintaining goodwill to accelerate growth driving sales to meet or exceed established goals.

  • Collaborate with reseller management and representatives to ensure sales leads are effectively captured, closed. and accounts are managed in the best interest of the business to attain and grow market share.

  • Jointly develop impactful campaign initiatives with Partner Marketing to maximize returns of investments; track effectiveness of programs and associated ROI; monitor trends and apply learnings to improve future programs.

  • Provide product demonstrations and presentations exhibiting knowledge of market specific features, benefits, and technical aspects of the full Power Technologies product line.

  • Provide sales and marketing support at exhibitions & trade shows.

  • Review and confirm all reseller purchase orders, acting as main point of contact to update on status of orders with internal team, coordinating communication between customers, operations & fulfillment team as required.

  • Provide weekly report of pipeline, forecast and activities within NetSuite CRM including but not limited to sales driven activities and communication associated to channel partners and end users, forecast, manage, and report on ongoing sales and pipeline activity.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Profile

  • Experience in EdTech or ICT is a requirement.

  • Remote location residing in Germany

  • BA, BS degree is required.

  • 5+ years of solid experience in IT Technology hardware is required with specific familiarity in education sales preferred

  • A minimum of 3+ years specifically in international global sales is required

  • 3+ Years’ experience building distribution through Warehouse Stocking Distributors and Resellers is required.

  • Demonstratable relevant and successful sales management experience within IT Hardware or Hardware manufacturing within the education or commercial sector

  • Excellent sales skills and sales leadership capabilities; exceptionally strong negotiation and consultation skills

  • Solid track record of both direct and indirect sales (targeted) achievements within the IT-Tech market

  • Proven ability to engage in middle, senior and C-level management structures.

  • An articulate and effective communicator with demonstrated negotiation skills across multiple services and functions.

  • Experienced functioning effectively in an international environment.

  • Ability to respond and work well under pressure and change.

  • Excellent presentation skills

  • Proficient in English and German, multilingual a plus

  • Ability to travel up to 60%
