Head of Demand Planning (m/f/d)

Vienna | 38,5 h/week | FMCG

Our client is a globally recognized company in the FMCG industry. To further strengthen its team, we are seeking a Head of Demand Planning (f/m/d) who will drive and optimize demand planning processes with analytical expertise and strategic foresight.

Your Challenge

  • Lead all volume planning routines and processes with Sales and cross-functional stakeholders, continuously improving and optimizing them
  • Provide management with relevant volume and planning insights, results, and action plans in collaboration with key functions
  • Analyze variances between forecasts and actual results, deriving necessary actions
  • Define and maintain key performance indicators (e.g., Forecast Accuracy)
  • Conduct SAP testing and provide training for end users
  • Lead and moderate weekly and monthly Sales & Operations meetings
  • Participate in or lead Key Account Management projects, such as Customer Centricity, to optimize demand planning processes
  • Lead and develop the team by fostering individual strengths and enhancing overall team performance

Your Profile

  • Completed relevant university degree (ideally Master’s)
  • At least 4 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent German language skills and good command of English
  • Advanced MS Office skills (especially Excel); SAP knowledge is a plus
  • Analytical and structured working approach
  • Strong communication skills, high numerical affinity, and a good overall business perspective

For this position, the annual gross salary starts at €80.000,- (full-time, 38.5 hours per week, all-in), excluding bonuses. The final compensation will be determined based on experience and qualifications in a personal interview.
