A victim of corporate restructuring and outsourcing to India.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
An all around sense of apathy and frustration.
Kommunikation
There are regular newsletters and town-hall meetings for corporate news. Since all the teams are spread out all over the world, teams do not know what other teams are working on or even what they are responsible for. More and more departments are being outsourced to India, which results in a ridiculous amount of redundant explanations because of a thick language barrier.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
Will largely depend on the team you will join.
Work-Life-Balance
Flex time, the possibilty of occasional home office and a lot of freedom as long as things are getting done.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
Generally very respectful and understanding.
Interessante Aufgaben
Tiny tasks can take up unbelievable amounts of time because of convoluted systems and bad structuring or delegation of responsibility.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Hardware is a little dated, everything else was okay.
Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein
Trash can be separated but cleaning personnel will just through everything in the same bin.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Taking salary negotiations seriously during the interview is recommended, as raises are virtually impossible without moving to another role. Depending on your contract you can be eligible for a yearly bonus - provided the companies targets are met. Lunch vouchers worth ~ €75,- every month were a nice touch.
Image
It's still a well known brand name back from the early days.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
A lot of promises that were never acted upon.
