Employees are able to work fulltime from home. The technical equipping such as laptops/monitors have been provided to each employee on time.
With weekly and more often updates in form of emails about the work and company's situation, the employer keeps the team constantly informed, openly and honestly communicated. This keeps the motivation and team spirit very high, as well as the sense of security that one has a job and doesn't need to experience short-time work or even unemployment.
Apart from job security, the employer acts very level-headedly, supportive and understandingly for the interests of the employees.
The employer is also learning from the crisis about the benefits of the current digital transformation. The IT services, networks, process management, and technical support are acting very quickly, organized and are always eager to help.
The internal communication within the team has been steadily maintained across different communication platforms either by calls, video conferences or messages.
Apart from becoming more digitalized, the Corona crisis has helped to put even more trust in the employee's work and shows greater social cohesion than they already are.

This causes a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere with the professional and attentive staff making everyone feel welcome.

A young team that stands up for each other and does many activities also during leisure. The strong team spirit at GeoVille is compared to other companies very unique and makes this work extraordinarily pleasant. Company trips, other celebrations and joint coffee or lunch breaks are repeatedly on the agenda, contributing to a constant exchange, trusting cooperation, identification with the company and improved motivation.

Interessante Aufgaben

Because of the companies wide field of work, there are constantly new projects/themes with reality and praxis-oriented subjects, many interesting/exciting tasks and personal development opportunities. Own empirical experience and interests will be considered, finding the suitable area of responsibility and trying to balance the workload for each team member from the very beginning. Close to deadlines, the workload could increase but it is relatively even dispersed over the project period. A certain amount of independent work is required. Ideas or suggestions for improvement are gladly accepted.
Conferences and business trips enable direct contact to partners, international exchange and appears to be a welcome change from the general desk work.

Arbeitsbedingungen

The office is located right in the middle of the city Innsbruck, with a nice view of the surrounding mountains. The location is very well accessible with public transportations, as well as by bike. The city center offers tons of different lunch options.
The office space is newly designed and consists primarily of open-plan offices with about 2 to a maximum of six people working in. The place is extended over two floors, offering meeting rooms, places of retreat, a cozy lunch corner and a kitchen.

Umwelt-/Sozialbewusstsein

Local products have been offered such as coffee or fruits, freely accessible to everybody. Waste separation has been emphasized.
