It is so bad that people are usually in disbelief that such a company can exist in a good regulated country like Austria. Mobbing, threats, stalking, yelling, management secretly recording conversation with employees. This company even antagonized the clients.
People forced to come to the office even when half of the staff was positiv for Covid, all due to the mistrust of the management. Other aspects of work-life balance are non-existant. No psychological safety.
Some have had problem with Dienstzeugnisse (toned down to make it harder for people to find another job). Some have even gotten them written BY HAND! Almost everyone has been stalked on social media/LinkedIn by the management after they left.
We were given 2020 Covid Bonus in 2021 and those who left in 2021 had it deducted from their paycheck. This is illegal, confirmed by Arbeiterkammer and various lawyers.
There are none. If "old" means max 35, then yes, they were treated the same way as the younger ones - without respect.
The company was different 2 years ago, it was better, but the management change in 2020 lead to the collapse. The current management sees no fault in their leadership, the motto is who doesn't like it, can leave. Once an employee leaves, they are seen as the enemy who undermines the company. People working 10+ years have left in the middle of the pandemic, because it was unbearable.
Surveilled every second, access to internet and websites defined ad hoc according to the managements current mood, you can expect to be yelled at, threatened with lawsuits, fired, receive a warning for no reason - on a daily basis. The turnover in the last 2 years was 99%. Even the replacements are leaving now.
The managemant has fired one employee on her doorstep and one in Karenz. The company has been sued by several employees for misconduct.
There is no communication, there are only orders from the management. Emails from all the staff are read daily by the management, calls recorded. When advised by the senior staff to calm down or do the right thing, this management gives them written warnings for telling them how to manage. Sending of external emails was forbidden. In order to do their jobs, employees had to ask permission to send an email.
Everyone is to be treated equally badly.

Colleague was "entlassen" in "papamonat". Be prepared for court. People don't get a proper "Dienstzeugnis". It ist not improbable, that a trial at the Arbeitsgericht follows your "career".
When you leave, you are threatened.
Colleagues are ok. But fluctuation is insane.
Payment and bonuses are OK. Well, you have to bear more than just hard work for it.
