Started with quite interesting tasks but then turned into a real disaster. The colleagues have been great though.

Listen to your employees. Nobody is evil and just wants to increase the work environment. Everybody loved to work with the team of smart people but the general company environment is also important in the longer term to bind employees and not loose know-how.

Super stressful atmosphere because we had to switch between tasks several times a day sometimes, because everything had to be finished tomorrow.
Kommunikation
Way to less communication in terms of priorities and also responsibilities. The different teams had to find their contact persons from other teams themselves which lead to a lot of miscommunication. There was no good coordination from higher instance.
Kollegenzusammenhalt
The whole team was great and it was amazing working with a lot of smart colleagues. However sometimes due to inefficient planning and miscommunication I had the feeling that colleagues where somehow played against each other to force them to finish something because the other team needs this and that.
Work-Life-Balance
A lot of short notice overhours. Employees should be reachable all the time. You take home a lot of stress because there was no meaningful planning of tasks over a longer period. Tasks got shifted very often and had to be finished asap.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
The main issues was the lack of planning which led to a lot of task switching, additionally the communication of priorities was not there and therefore there have been a lot of stressful situations where tasks where switched with short notice and we had to do overhours to finish them "in time" to find out afterwards that it wasn't that important anyways and we had to switch to something even more important. It's also not the funniest thing if your lead always "knows" how to implement everything even if the employees, which are into the details, know that it's not possible.
Interessante Aufgaben
Tasks where quite interesting, but most of the time there wasn't enough time to really build a good solution. It somehow worked in the end but thats not what a software developer should be aiming for.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Laptops and Monitors have been fine. Mouses and Keyboards where cheap. Office equipment itself was just there because it had to be there. The old coffee machine was kind of broken for about a year till we got a new one. Also, no garbage cans in most of the rooms. Sometimes we went out of coffee, toilet paper and so on.

Is it social to just focus on the company and customer goals and not on the employees at all?
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Very low salary for the work that has to be done. It was mentioned quite often that it's so cool that so many smart people work together. Why not pay them properly then? "We pay you more than Kollektivvertrag and therefore you have to work overtime!"
