Behind the pretty words in April is a very different reality. BUT: As soon as you start working there, the team will quickly fill you in on what's going on. So, the beautiful screen of international awards and challenging projects falls away and reveals to you a picture of a very disrespectful, uncommunicative work environment.
Now I will try to put a clear picture to ensure an adequate degree of balance.
The company has a very bad reputation in Graz, and there are several reasons for this. Last year a number of colleagues got thrown out. It was a big shock to everyone. The company calls itself a marketing company, yet there are not even two full-time positions left in the marketing department. HR also left the Titanic as did the entire team. Probably tired of the hire & fire mindset. Most of the newly hired employees don't even last a year: either kicked out or so many people leave voluntarily anyway.
Kommunikation
It's perfectly normal there to speak badly of employees who aren't present at meetings. As well, it's okay to yell at employees who are present. Similarly, it's also normal to not hold meetings without canceling them. No apologies for the time you spent on preparing for the meeting or waiting for the C-level outside business hours would ever be given. Also home office has always been a large topic. Presence is required. A maximum of one day home office is allowed. They really understand modern working environment.
Vorgesetztenverhalten
There is a management level- theoretically. Practically everything is decided by the C-level. Anyone who allows themselves to have an opinion runs the risk of being fired within days — even as a manager. There has been more than one person who was a star one day and then got kicked out two weeks later. So if you're looking for the thrill of not knowing if you'll have a job tomorrow, SCOOP & SPOON is the best place for that kind of excitement. Whether you rise or fall depends largely on the C-level's mood.
Interessante Aufgaben
Internally all the processes and systems for better project coordination are outdated and far from state-of-the-art. To the outside world the marketing team is forced to lie to customers and send inappropriate emails on behalf of the C-level. The „innovative digital solutions“ are nothing more than a copy-paste product that is „repainted“ for any new client. It's generally interesting to hear what the C Level thinks they are and what employees think they are really doing.

All in all, it's a small but very complicated company. The team is very nice, but they have to stick together to make it through the day there. I'm sure there are worse companies, but if you have other options, you should consider them first. Career opportunities equal zero if you are not willing to give up your own mindset.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
There is a so-called Academy, but more in theory than in practice. Here you have to spend money on employees, and the management has a hard time with that. They prefer to invest in their luxury car fleet.
