Automation Engineer

Für unseren Kunden, der sich kontinuierlich weiterentwickelt und damit einen einzigartigen Mehrwert schafft, suchen wir:

Development and programming using B&R Automation Studio
Design of control cabinet components for machine controls
Development of software concepts and modules
Software development and functional testing both in-house and on-site
Administration and continuous improvement of our cloud solutions
Project-specific software customization
Evaluation of hardware components
Providing first-level support for field technicians and application engineers
Creation and implementation of remote access and database concepts
Creating and managing Virtual Machines (VM)
Preparation and execution of internal training sessions

Successfully completed higher education or specialized training as an automation engineer, electrical engineer, software engineer, or a comparable field with at least 5 years of professional experience
Experience in designing control cabinet components for machine controls and knowledge of standards and guidelines in control engineering
Experience in developing and programming complex machine controls and new product development/project management
Profound knowledge of PLC development environments (preferably B&R Automation Studio) and electrical CAD (preferably EPLAN P8)
Knowledge of modern control programming in ST, C, and C++
Understanding of network technology and modular software structures
Familiarity with communication interfaces such as CAN, TCP, and OPC-UA, as well as control and process engineering knowledge
Ideally, knowledge of software management systems (preferably SVN and GIT) and virtual machines
Motivation to engage and evolve with cloud solutions in the future
Confident communication skills in both German and English (written and verbal)
Flexible and able to work effectively in a team
International mindset and motivation to work in a global environment
Willingness to travel occasionally (5-10%)
