Product Manager Forming Tools (gn)

The product manager Forming Tools (FT) takes responsibility within the OSS CTO organization for analyzing the FT product portfolio and defining the future roadmap. They shall develop, define and follow-up the execution of the 5-year business plan in cooperation with the broader CTO and Regional teams to deliver sustainable and profitable growth.

Your Responsibilities

Lead the product strategy development and implementation for the product portfolio
Monitor, benchmark, develop product/market/segment
Monitor, benchmark and secure products to competitor’s products in order to assess the key competitors and understand their strategies
Ensure a strong USP, value-based/ competitive pricing as well as product competitiveness
Define and manage product lifecycle
Monitor the performance of the product portfolio according to pre-defined KPIs to drive continuous improvement and efficiency of the portfolio
Identify applications with high potential of profitable replication within global implementation

Your Profile

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (PVD technology, general engineering)
Experience in managing technical products and product portfolios in a global matrix organization servicing a global market/customer base in a B2B environment
Strong knowledge and existing network in the Forming Tools industry
Proven track record in marketing in a multinational company in a technical environment
Very strong project management skills
Experience with alternative and digital business models beneficial
Sales experience in high tech products is of advantage
Language: fluent English, German a plus
Flexibility to travel up to 30 %
