as far as the local organization (atrain GmbH) is concerned, there are bi-weekly townhalls and updates from the leadership team. the global organization is at times a bit of a blackbox. global townhalls have been launched recently though.

the business itself is fast-paced and somewhat unpredictable which, at times, creates capacity crunches. peaks (especially when traveling was still part of the job in pre-covid times) were not uncommon. colleagues are very understanding and supportive when family matters need to be prioritized though. individual needs and wishes (part-time, flexible working hours, sabbatical, etc.) are being considered whenever possible.

not applicable as we are a rather young team with the majority of emplyoees being in their late twenties to their early forties (some exceptions exist though ;))

the covid pandemic and virtual/remote work gave us the push needed to act more in line with our values to also care about the ecosystem. future will tell if we make conscious decisions to reduce travel/printing once the pandemic is over one day.

entry-level salary is perceived as not competitive (I personally found it just about ok), however the salary improves significantly over the years! for someone who is primarily financially-driven, atrain is probably not the right place to thrive.

plenty of learning opportunities on the job in a customer-facing consulting role as the business is always evolving; access to internal academy, coaching, and individual development budget. for someone who needs a fancy title to be satisfied, atrain is probably not the right place to thrive.
