No transparency:
- Who obtains open-ended contracts and why?
- Which people who have open-ended contracts are relatives of other fixed employees?
- Little to no punishment for misconduct in managers: i have witnessed various cases of severe bullying while working there - the ombudsperson is hired by / reports to the Director: of course they won't soil the next / bite the hand that feeds => the "small" people then have to go
- Allegedly a senior person whose contract was terminated due to severe misconduct still negotiated a lifetime pension (also something that is supposed to be very rare). This was leaked by the HR department. How can this be? Isn't EMBL spending public money?
