Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
The mission of Energyminer is what makes it special from other companies. We aren't in this business to make as much money as possible or to gain the attention of everyone. We simply want to provide the world with a sustainable form of renewable energy. Energyminer and its owners have done a great job promoting this since the day I joined.
Verbesserungsvorschläge
Although I haven't brought it to my supervisors attention, I would prefer to meet more regularly to discuss my progress both in my work and how I am performing as an employee. More feedback in these areas would be appreciated.
Arbeitsatmosphäre
The office is a shared open workspace. I feel close to my colleagues and I am able to easily share ideas and communicate with them. We take our work seriously, but we also take time to make fun and enjoy eachothers presence.
Kommunikation
In previous jobs, I've always felt a disconnect between myself and my superior. At Energyminer, I am never hesitant to share concerns or questions with my superior. I do wish, however, I had more regular check up's of my work progress.

My colleagues are near my age and we share common interests. I consider them more friends than people I work with.
Work-Life-Balance
The superiors are very understanding of personal needs and are accomodating to home office. Of course, however, working for a startup company requires longer hours when a deadline needs to be reached.

Interessante Aufgaben
In my position, I've been given the opportunity to research and develop topics that are immediately relevant to the company. In my short time as an international intern, I've seen my work have a real impact on our products. Due to the nature of a startup company, there are times where your tasks can get shifted around to meet the current needs.

There is a lot of diversity within the office. I work with individuals from all across the world. The office employees are split nearly 50/50 of men to female.
Umgang mit älteren Kollegen
Although I am the youngest in the office, I have no concerns with sharing my ideas or concerns with those whom I share an age difference with. It is a comfortable work environment.

The working space is cleaned regularly and the company provides complimentary drinks and snacks.

Working as an intern, the salary is acceptable an I am able to cover my living costs with no concerns.

Being a startup company, the name of Energyminer is not as well known as larger brands in the area. Having attended a few festivals and conferences with Energyminer, the company is certaintly making a name for themself.
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Alongside my work, I am also in the process of writing my master's thesis. Energyminer understands that this consumes some of my work time and they are very considering of this.
