A very pleasant company to work for
Gut am Arbeitgeber finde ich
Excellent management during the Corona crisis (fast home office policy, crate of beers sent to our home, no Kurzarbeit).
Arbeitsatmosphäre
Experience might differ depending on your location, but the office in Essen is very laid back and the colleagues all get along very well.
Kommunikation
Dealing with the colleagues in Germany is easy and hassle free. Dealing with the offshores guys is not always as easy.
Work-Life-Balance
No overtime, home office is tolerated and even encouraged sometimes. You're only required to be available between 9 to 15h, after that how you organise your time is on you. This is a very "adult" company where your opinion as a professional is valued and the engineers are not treated like a bunch of monkeys tapping away on their keyboard. The deadlines are quite reasonable and estimated with regular work weeks in mind.
Interessante Aufgaben
You have a lot of freedom when it comes to the IT stack. Management for the most part trust their development teams and let them take pretty much take all the technical decisions they judge fit. You will work with recent technologies, staying for an extended period at Fielddata.io will not be a "career suicide" on your resume. All of our stack is brand new and we are continuously improving it.
Gleichberechtigung
Can't comment on this.
Arbeitsbedingungen
Extremely good. You have the startup "vibe" and the backing and stability of a large corporation. Essentially you have the advantages of both camps with very few of the disadvantages of each side.
Gehalt/Sozialleistungen
Competitive salary and space for negotiation for other goodies. No pension contribution (yet).
Karriere/Weiterbildung
Since it is still a relatively small company but it's growing rapidly there are possibilities of advancement.
