To help us build the foundation of our future fab in Dresden, we are looking for a highly motivated and passionate:

ESH Engineer

Tasks

As an ESH Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and enhancing environmental, health, and safety (EHS) measures at our Dresden site. Your focus will be on ensuring legal compliance, minimizing risks, and collaborating with authorities, customers, and internal stakeholders to drive a safe and sustainable work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement a site-specific ESH management system, aligning with corporate policies and procedures.

  2. Monitor and analyze new or modified EU, federal, state, and local EHS regulations, standards, and requirements.

  3. Ensure compliance with all environmental, safety, and health regulations.

  4. Conduct and evaluate audits of ESH programs and develop improvement plans to maintain compliance with internal policies and legal requirements.

  5. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on ESH compliance and sustainability management topics.

  6. Support ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) initiatives related to ESH topics.

Profile

Job Qualifications:

Qualifications and Education:

  1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Occupational Safety, Environmental Management, Industrial Hygiene, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.

  2. At least 5 years of experience in a similar ESH-related position.

  3. Professional certifications (e.g. Occupational Safety Engineer, Environmental Protection Officer) are a plus.

  4. Experience in the semiconductor industry, high-tech manufacturing, or an international large-scale company is preferred.

Must have experience:

  1. Knowledge of EU, German federal, Saxony state, and Dresden ESH and fire protection regulations.

  2. Familiarity with ISO 14001/45001 and related management systems.

Language Skills:

  1. German and English: Full Professional Proficiency or Native / Bilingual Proficiency; Mandarin is desirable and nice to have.

Professional Skills:

  1. Communication style: concise, data-driven manner.

Personal Attributes:

  1. Strong social competence and communication skills.

  2. Strategic thinking with strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.

  3. Adaptability to a changing environment.
