As a Project Manager (f/m/d) for Global Procurement Projects at Siemens Energy, you will play a key role in supporting strategic procurement initiatives and implementing innovative tools and processes across our global locations. As a Project Manager (f/m/d) for Global Procurement Projects at Siemens Energy, you will play a key role in supporting strategic procurement initiatives and implementing innovative tools and processes across our global locations. You will contribute to enhancing procurement efficiency, driving our mission, and delivering exceptional value to our customers while collaborating with diverse teams and departments.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Assist in leading global strategic procurement projects and support their successful implementation across various locations.
- Help coordinate overarching procurement topics across all our global sites.
- Actively participate as a project member in cross-departmental global projects (e.g., IT, Industrial Engineering, Production, etc.), contributing your insights to achieve excellent results.
- Support the completion of procurement activities, ensuring objectives and timelines are met.
- Implementation of new tools and processes at headquarters and various locations, ensuring adherence to best practices and achieving set goals.
- Contribute to developing effective strategies for cost management, supplier relationships, and risk mitigation.
- A Master degree in engineering, industrial engineering, business informatics, or business administration.
- Experience in operational or strategic procurement within a large multinational company is preferred.
- A willingness to learn and grow in leading global procurement teams with a focus on achieving results.
- Familiarity with procurement processes and tools is a plus.
- Willingness to travel as needed to support global project requirements.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
