The position is responsible for implementing the quality system in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and serves as the quality system manager. It ensures product conformity during both the final process phase and throughout manufacturing. The primary focus is on the continuous improvement of existing product and process quality. Additionally, the role involves leading and managing the department efficiently and professionally, while adhering to and enforcing disciplinary and legal requirements.

 

The job holder will receive training at the main location in Germany in the first few months and will then move to the USA.

Aufgaben

The position is aimed to ensure the implementation of the quality system in accordance with ISO 9001 standards and acts as quality system manager. Ensures the conformity of products in the final process phase as well as during their manufacturing. A permanent improvement of the existing product and process quality is the main focus of the position. The goal is also to lead and manage the department in an economically efficient and professional manner, and to comply with and enforce disciplinary and legal requirements.

 

Main Focus Non-Conformities

· Take care about key customers or key complaints

· Follow up weekly on customer claims

· Evaluate and approve corrective actions for customers

· Observes established work rules and quality requirements

· Analysis of claims (customer) based on weekly and monthly defined statistics

· Follow-up, documentation and control of the effectiveness of the implemented corrective actions

· Follow up and investigate on key supplier topics

 

Main focus Shopfloor Quality

· Regularly evaluation of customer claims to identify necessary actions in the factory

· Ensure Güntner Group quality standards

· Permanent evaluation and optimization of product and process quality

· Ensures permanent communication between production quality manager

· Root cause analysis for all claims

 

Main Focus ISO 9001 / Process management

· Full responsibility for building and maintaining the quality assurance system in the company

· Creation, maintenance, evaluation and approval of QM documentation in Process House

· Initiation and monitoring of preventive and corrective measures and effectiveness testing

· Ensuring that test and measuring equipment is managed in accordance with standards

Profil

· Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience as warranty manager, in claim handling or as service responsible, ideally in refrigeration, electric heating or similar industries

· Good technical expertise and of Quality Methods (e.g. Continuous improvement, 8D, Ishikawa, 5 Why….), Six Sigma appreciated, Lean Management appreciated

· Ideally the candidate has good production (welding, brazing, coating, materials) and application knowledge as well as acumen in process optimization (Quality Stream Mapping)

· Experience in building / restructuring of team(s) in one of the above fields
