A Snapshot of Your Day
As a CFD Engineer, you start your day by setting up simulation parameters for the current CFD project, defining geometry, and specifying boundary conditions using specialized software to create and refine the computational mesh.You will run preliminary simulations to validate the setup and make necessary adjustments based on initial results. Throughout the day, you collaborate with global stakeholders, discuss project timelines, share key findings, align on next steps.

How You’ll Make an Impact

Conduct CFD simulations and analyses to evaluate fluid flow and heat transfer in various gas turbine, generator, and steam turbine auxiliary systems
Develop and validate CFD models to ensure the accuracy and reliability of simulation results, including multiphase systems
Interpret the behavior of fuel gas leakages, including CH4 and blends with H2 content, and present simulation results to stakeholders, providing clear and actionable insights
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and testing, to offer insights and recommendations based on CFD analysis
Grow and develop expertise in fluid and mechanical auxiliary systems for gas turbines and steam turbines
Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in CFD methodologies, tools, and industry trends
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CFD processes and best practices within the organization

What You Bring

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process engineering, or a related field
Proven experience in CFD analysis and simulation, preferably in the energy or related industries
Proficiency in CFD software such as ANSYS Fluent, STAR-CCM+, or similar tools
Strong understanding of fluid dynamics, heat transfer, and thermodynamics principles.
Knowledge of international standard ISO 21789 Gas turbine applications – safety, beneficial
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex engineering challenges
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to convey technical information effectively

Our Gas Services division offers Low-emission power generation through service and decarbonization. Zero or low emission power generation and all gas turbines under one roof, steam turbines and generators. Decarbonization opportunities through service offerings, modernization, and digitalization of the fleet.
