Operational Buyer (m/f/d)

Our client is a leading European supplier, specializing in sustainable sourcing, processing, and distribution to wholesalers and retailers in the food industry.

• Procurement of raw materials, supplies, and consumables, ensuring smooth operations.

• Managing quotations, including inquiries, evaluation, and follow-ups.

• Coordinating delivery schedules with internal and external partners, including goods receipt inspection.

• Handling complaints and managing supplier-related issues.

• Maintaining supplier relationships, including selection, support, and development.

• Supporting procurement process improvements, cost reduction initiatives, and inventory optimization.

• Completed commercial training with initial experience in purchasing.

• Interest in the food production industry.

• Independent, structured, and self-reliant working style.

• Strong negotiation, communication, and teamwork skills.

• Excellent organizational abilities, assertiveness, and problem-solving skills.

• Proficiency in English and German (written and spoken) and strong MS Office and ERP knowledge.
