ROLE ACCOUNTABILITIES:

To assume full responsibility for Roland Sales of the Piano Line Up for the Roland Piano Store Network in Germany.

This includes:

Managing and developing profitable business/turnover within the country through the effective territory and customer management of all assigned dealers. Based on this, customer analysis, business and budget planning, sales and marketing execution and building a close customer relationship are clearly the main goals of this position.

Sales Strategy & Business Management

  • Develops and executes dealer business plans to drive sustainable sales growth.

  • Categorizes dealers using ABC analysis and relationship quality (supplier, partner, strategic partner).

  • Creates and follows a structured call plan, prioritizing top and potential new dealers.

  • Plans and conducts dealer visits, meetings, and business reviews.

  • Monitors business plan execution, budgets, and sales performance.

  • Builds and maintains strong dealer relationships across all levels.

  • Targets and opens new dealers in strategic areas.

  • Ensures timely execution of the Selective Distribution Agreement (SDA).

  • Identifies training needs and supports dealer staff with product and sales training.

  • Collaborates with internal teams to quickly resolve dealer requests.

  • Maintains accurate CRM data entry and financial monitoring.

  • Tracks market trends and competitive threats.

  • Ensures proper upkeep of company assets (car, credit cards, equipment).

  • Takes full responsibility for customer-related problem-solving.

Communication & Reporting

  • Ensures clear, direct, and solution-focused communication internally and externally.

  • Submits timely and accurate reports, CRM updates, and expense claims.

  • Plans and communicates leave requests in advance.

  • Schedules monthly one-on-one meetings with the line manager.

EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:

  • Skilled in delivering dynamic and engaging piano demonstrations (good standard of playing)

  • Sales ability 

  • Excellent negotiation skills 

  • Previous experience in the music business is a plus
