Activities

We are looking for a new Senior Linux developer (m/f/d) to work remote or at our office in Karlsruhe as soon as possible.

• You develop features and requirements together with our stakeholders.
• You design and implement new features and architectural improvements.
• You will contribute to effort estimations and project planning.
• You will work closely with our QA to ensure a well-tested product and high-quality standards.
• In collaboration with our support team, you will track down customer issues, analyze them and implement fixes.
• You will make suggestions for internal team improvements.
• You will provide technical leadership and mentoring to junior colleagues.

Requirements

• You have successfully completed a degree in computer science, mathematics or physics and have several years of professional experience in system-related development.
• You are confident in working with Git.
• You have experience with C++ and other common build systems such as Cmake.
• You have knowledge of common scripting languages such as Python and Bash.
• Ideally, you have knowledge of or experience with Debian or Ubuntu-based Linux distributions.
• In-depth knowledge of distributed authentication protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, EntraID, FIDO2, Passkeys is an advantage.
• At best, you already have experience in interacting with open-source projects.
• Experience with embedded Linux environments is an advantage.
• German skills are an advantage.
