Tasks
Serve as the global contact for the technical management of EHSQR (Environment, Health, Safety, Quality, Regulatory) across local teams and specialists within the Global Chemical Company's business unit.
Provide technical and IT support for product safety and chemical regulation in projects involving SAP S/4 implementation or the transformation from existing ERP systems at various locations.
Analyze existing data and structures while ensuring the necessary functionalities in the SAP “EHS-Classic” module or its subsequent versions.
Develop concepts for product safety and regulatory affairs, collaborating with internal and external consultants as part of IT project management.
Work closely with local key users before, during, and after the project phases to ensure successful implementation.
Build expert knowledge within the EHSQR organization to support future innovations, such as transitioning from EHS-Classic to S/4 HANA Product Compliance.
Collaborate with relevant IT initiatives at the group level, including managing data transfers related to EHS-Classic and newer versions.
Provide consulting and support for further digital applications in EHS, product safety, and regulatory matters.
Profile
Essential Qualifications:
A degree in information technology, natural sciences, or related fields such as toxicology, food technology, or chemical engineering.
Relevant experience as an IT specialist (m/f/d) in product safety and chemical regulation.
Extensive IT knowledge with several years of SAP experience (preferably in the SAP EHS module).
Proficiency in both German and English.
