Job description

 

Enercon is looking for an Operations Manager.

As Operation Manager you are part of the management team and will contribute to the strategic decision making within the organization.

You do this by: 

 

  •  Overseeing all service operations in Belgium.

  • Managing daily activities and performance of the indoor team, including business support, planners, and other relevant functions.

  • Analyzing and report on Belgium service department operations, implementing continuous improvement measures.

  • Promoting the ENERCON Leadership guidelines and Mission Statement, leading by example.

  • Monitoring spending and provide financial insights for budgetary planning.

  • Ensuring efficient service operations through accurate planning and technical support.

  • Coordinating with the different regional and local departments/managers to implement and maintain best practices in Belgium and support the region in uniformization.

  • Guiding teams to prioritize work with commercial awareness to protect the business.

  • Attending customer meetings as required, representing ENERCON professionally.

  • Ensuring KPI targets are met at both personal and team levels.

  • Conducting annual performance appraisals for direct reports.

  • Handling disciplinary procedures in cooperation with HR and in compliance with ENERCON and Belgian legal guidelines.

  • Maintaining and develop team knowledge regarding job roles, company standards, and industry trends.

  • Fostering positive and efficient working relationships with third-party suppliers.

  • Supporting recruitment processes in conjunction with HR.

  • Implementing structured reporting for regional management.

  • Identifying opportunities to increase value contribution to customers.

  • Serving as an escalation point for the After Sales Department on technical issues.

  • Leading customer meetings with a professional and solution-oriented approach.

  • Ensuring full coverage and support for weekend and holiday service requirements. 

 

Job requirements

 

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of technical and people management experience.
  • Strong theoretical knowledge of electricity and mechanics;
  • Strong leadership and team management abilities.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Highly organized, problem-solving mindset, and results-driven.
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexible, and client-focused.
  • Assertive, autonomous, and responsible.
  • Ability to promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
  • Excellent knowledge French or Dutch. Knowledge of the other national language is an asset. English: Professional proficiency.
