  • Build a labour relations Community of Practice with labour relations specialists in the European countries to establish standard processes and a set of principles how to engage with social partners
  • Develop and implement strategies, standards and policies in alignment with Siemens Energy’s business objectives and labour laws, and drive collective bargaining negotiations in different countries
  • Keep track of labour market trends, and legislative changes to proactively address potential labour relations challenges, and present reports on activities, trends, and outcomes to senior management
  • Define a Competency Framework for labour relations, identifying and deploying approaches to enhance organizational capability in handling labour relations across Europe, and conduct training and development programs for management and HR teams on European labour relations topics
  • Manage transnational projects, such as reorganizations, integrations, M&A activities, and other topics as workstream lead
What You Bring
  • Master’s degree or equivalent experience in human resources, labour relations, law, or a related field, preferably a legal degree in a European jurisdiction
  • Long-term relevant experience in labour relations, as well as in-depth knowledge of European labour laws, regulations, and experience in dealing with a European Works Council
  • Consistent track record of successfully managing collective bargaining agreements in different jurisdictions, acting as a mentor to local teams and/or negotiating yourself, and setting labor relations strategy
  • Superb management of both social partners and leadership team, excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Business insight, strong analytical and problem-solving abilities as well as project management experience combined with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment as part of an international team
  • Full business proficiency in English is required; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus
