Tasks

You drive technological advances, make architectural decisions, conduct code reviews and QA audits of submitted specifications, take on difficult software development tasks and develop proof of concepts (PoC) for new technologies and solution approaches.
You coach, coordinate, motivate and inspire the team of developers and actively support them in day-to-day business when implementing complex requirements from the specialist departments. As an experienced developer, you identify technical obstacles, develop solutions and also take on complex implementation tasks yourself.
You work with development management to define the technical requirements, options and goals that will be implemented with the development team. You report on the progress of work in implementing requirements and exchange ideas to define team and project goals.
Based on the requirements and business processes of the stakeholders, you design high-performance, maintainable and scalable applications. You also actively support these implementations.
You have a good overview of all work steps and processes. You also ensure that deadlines are met and that the work is quality assured and documented.

Profile

A completed degree in computer science, business informatics or in the STEM field, or a completed technical training coupled with very good specialist knowledge.
At least 10 years of professional experience as an operational developer (f/m/d).
Very good technical know-how in the relevant technologies (e.g. microservices and cloud environments). The programming languages currently used are Java, JavaScript, ABAP and SWIFT.
Confident handling of databases and cloud environments (e.g. Azure or AWS) as well as various tools for code management, APIs and cloud integration.
Intrinsic motivation, continuous (also independent) professional training as well as high resilience and a strong sense of responsibility.
Communication and teamwork skills as well as assertiveness.
Fluent German and English skills.
