A Snapshot of Your Day
As a Project Engineering Manager (f/m/d) at Siemens Energy, you will oversee a diverse team of engineering experts across various fields, including electrical, plant layout, mechanical, civil, process, thermal, controls, and instrumentation. Your role will involve leading these professionals in a project management capacity to complete projects within the Energy Solution Portfolio.
How You’ll Make an Impact
- Support energy transformation initiatives, encompassing Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) of Combined Cycle Power Plants and H2, and hybrid solutions in a global environment. Also, High Voltage Alternate / Direct Current projects (HVAC and HVDC projects) projects will be part of that scope. Pivotal projects in advancing our planet's decarbonization efforts
- Ability to craft the future of energy through engagements with external partners (customers, consultants, authorities, suppliers) and internal collaborators, primarily focusing on technical matters
- Lead, integrate, and mentor the Engineering team, comprising diverse engineering fields (e.g., electrical, controls & instrumentation, process, mechanical, civil, plant layout, etc.), is critical for building a cohesive team and pursuing common objectives in bid or execution projects
- Effectively handle engineering-related risks and opportunities and adhere to technical contract execution and documentation requirements
What You Bring
- University degree, preferably within the field of Mechanical-, Electrical- or Process Engineering and 5 years of experience in overall technical project management
- Preferably having experience in the area of power plants and power plant equipment with site and commissioning experience
- Demonstrated ability in related Engineering fields from the power generation, power transmission, power distribution and EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) market
- Customer focus: capability of changing perspectives and adapting strategies and actions to meet the needs of the dynamic environment
- Ability to lead an international, globally dispersed Engineering team with expertise in various engineering fields to achieve the highest performance results
- Flexibility and willingness to be present for limited periods (approximately 25%) on sites, at customers and 3rd parties around the globe as per project needs.

At Siemens Energy we offer competitive compensation and additional benefits based on your performance, experience and qualification. Due to the Austrian legal regulations, we are obliged to state the minimum salary for this position. Please note that there is a clear willingness for a higher compensation considering your individual expectations, expertise and skills. The minimum salary for this position in the collective agreement for the electrical and electronics industry is in the amount of 64.308,- € gross/year for a full-time position (38,5 h/week).
