A Snapshot of Your Day 
As head of development of power transformers you are leading an international team which develops hardware components, creates design rules and specifications for global use for power transformers. Your team is asked to be an integral part of the PRM community, to foster internal and external cooperations and to provide development expertise to the entire global PR network by working in a strong and well established network.
The team develops under your leadership design rules, "prefered design variants" of power transformers, power transformer parts, components and solutions and provides the documentation of the results (TDR; TPS) with strong focus on harmonization, modularization and standardization. Since our internal customers, the engineering departments, which are creating the particular designs of power transformers in an engineered to order process, are using design tools created by PRM, we as hardware developers have to draft the requirement specifications for the software developers of the design tools as well. Last but not least the team takes care of technical libraries of globally released materials, parts, assemblies as common standards including product architecture.
Furthermore it is an obligation to support with our unique expertise all functions in the execution unit PR on their tasks to increase efficiency and productivity and achieve the business targets.

What You Bring
  • University degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering
  • Experience in leading people and bringing teams to success
  • Technical knowledge and experience about design of power transformers
  • Complementary experience in manufacturing technology of power transformers
  • Ability to decide if necessary
  • Ability to guide people instead of instructing them to unleash the full potential of an agile way of working (SAFe)
  • Self-motivation, reliability, analytical thinking, self-contained functioning, gladness on leading people, networking-skills
