What to expect from us:

The Information Science department transforms data into products and services for our 100 million end customers and thousands of partners in 25 countries.

You can choose freely whether you'd like to work at our location in Hamburg, Berlin or Bremen and you'll be part of a team of highly motivated colleagues in the fields of Data Science and Development, working on the further development of company-wide analytical products (Business Intelligence, interactive analysis, CRM, etc.).

In your daily work, you will use modern tools such as Snowflake, Kafka or cloud services and you will also be involved in international large-scale events in the sports and concert sectors.

Data: Integration of new data and data sources into the overarching data model in the company-wide Data Warehouse / Data Lake as well as the implementation of complex business logic
Innovation: Expansion and optimization of the analytical infrastructure, focusing on the migration to a cloud-based Data Lakehouse
Partner Support: Together with our international users, you will develop quality-assured data exports for partners based on their business requirements

Must-have:

Several years of professional experience in data modeling, reporting or data management
Strong affinity for data, structures, logic and business data modeling
Knowledge of and enthusiasm for working with SQL
Strong analytical and quantitative skills
Fluent in English

Nice-to-have:

Completed studies (Bachelor’s or Master’s) in Computer Science, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Business Administration or a similar field
Experience in handling multi-terabyte datasets
Knowledge of modern data management / data lake systems such as Snowflake or Databricks
Good German language skills
