Your daily pitch

The Director of Corporate Strategy (m/f/x) plays a crucial role in driving the execution and implementation of strategic initiatives within the organization. This role involves overseeing the planning, coordination, and monitoring of strategic programs and projects to ensure alignment with the company's goals and objectives.

Your playing field:

• Lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of strategic programs and projects, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and timelines.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and strategy teams to develop and refine strategic plans, initiatives, and roadmaps.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and alignment on strategic priorities and initiatives.
• Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables and oversee the execution of key milestones and activities.
• Identify potential risks and barriers to program success and develop mitigation strategies to address issues and minimize disruptions.
• Manage resource allocation, including budgeting, staffing, and procurement, to ensure optimal utilization and efficiency in program delivery.
• Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to track the progress and impact of strategic programs and provide regular updates to senior management.
• Facilitate regular communication and reporting to stakeholders, including executive leadership, board members, and project teams, to provide updates on program status, milestones, and achievements.
• Support change management efforts related to strategic initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, communication plans, and training programs to facilitate organizational alignment and adoption.
• Identify opportunities for process optimization, lessons learned, and best practices to enhance the effectiveness and efficiency of strategic program management.

Which skills should you bring to the pitch:

• Qualification: You have a university degree Finance, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
• Experienced:  Proven experience (typically 2-5+ years) in program management, strategic planning, or related roles, with a track record of successfully leading and executing complex initiatives.
• Data Driven: Strategic mindset with a good understanding of business strategy, market dynamics, and competitive landscapes and best practices in strategic program management.
• Strong communicator: Excellent verbal and written communication skills – You know how to manage stakeholders and partners but also how to present the company.
• Project Management: Strong project management skills, with proficiency in project planning, execution, and monitoring, using industry-standard methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile).
• Languages.  
  • Fluent in German is highly desired.  As the #1 in Germany, German is in our DNA. Professional language skills are important, as well in the communication with partners as for the content creation.
  • Strong knowledge of the English language.  Our team consists of more than 40 different nationalities working together to achieve Tipico's mission. English is the way we communicate within the company.
