About us
For one of our key customers located east of Hanover, I am searching for a freelance SAP Analyst with experience in material and manufacturing cost accounting as well as quantity/value coupling.
You will work closely with the finance department and operational teams to perform precise cost analyses and ensure seamless integration of SAP S/4HANA into the processes.
Tasks
Material Cost Analysis: Create and monitor material cost rates and perform variance analyses to optimize material costs.
Manufacturing Cost Accounting: Calculate and analyze manufacturing costs, including determining fixed and overhead costs, and their impact on product costing.
Quantity and Value Flow: Ensure quantity and value coupling between logistics and financial processes in SAP S/4HANA.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to define and implement specific requirements for material and cost accounting.
Data Analysis and Reporting: Create and present reports for decision-making to management and operational teams.
Process Optimization: Identify potential improvements in material and cost accounting processes and implement them in collaboration with the team.
Conduct training sessions for colleagues to optimize the use of SAP functions in cost accounting.
Profile
At least 5 years of experience in material or manufacturing cost accounting, ideally with a background in manufacturing industries.
Knowledge in analysing and optimizing cost accounting processes, including the integration of quantity and value flows.
Experience in implementing and customizing cost accounting modules in SAP S/4HANA.
Deep knowledge of FI, CO, MM modules and their interfaces. Implementation of a solution for automatic allocation and calculation of material costs for production orders in SAP CO modules CO-OM, CO-PC, and CO-PA.
Experience in SAP customizing and table management as well as the functionality of interfaces in and around SAP S/4HANA.
Proficiency with reporting tools within SAP and external BI solutions.
Ability to integrate material and value flows along the value chain.
