About our client
We are currently working on behalf of our client — a company operating in the specialty retail industry.
Your tasks
Compile monthly and annual consolidated financial statements in compliance with IFRS standards.
Utilize Tagetik software to manage balancing transactions.
Ensure adherence to proper accounting principles (GoB) and implement IFRS and tax updates.
Lead initiatives such as transfer pricing, developing accounting manuals, and applying relevant IFRS standards (e.g., leasing/rental).
Assist department management in enhancing internal accounting procedures.
Profil
Bachelor's degree in business administration, economics, or related field; alternatively, completed relevant training with professional experience and further qualifications (e.g., accountant).
Knowledge in accounting and financial statements.
Strong expertise in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
Experience with CCH Tagetik and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations is advantageous.
Proficient in written and spoken German and English.
High affinity for IT systems.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
