As a Senior Data Engineer in our BI team, you will play a pivotal role in designing, managing, and optimizing our Snowflake-based data warehouse. Your responsibilities will include developing ETL processes, data modeling, maintaining high data quality standards, and collaborating with the BI and Analytics teams to provide actionable insights. This position is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise in Snowflake, Airflow, dbt, SQL, and data warehousing, as well as a passion for solving complex data challenges.
Our BI team consists of Product Owner, Data Modelers & Data Engineers. Together with our colleagues from the Analytics department, we are responsible to deliver data products for our stakeholders to enable data driven steering & decision making.
Your tasks:
Manage Snowflake and related infrastructure
Design and maintain data models
Develop and optimize ETL processes
Collaborate with BI & Analytics teams
Ensure data quality and integrity
Create and maintain documentation
Stakeholder management on technical requirements
Your skills:
Strong Expertise in Snowflake
Expertise with Terraform with basic understanding of AWS Services
Expertise in dbt
Expertise in Airflow/Astronomer or similar orchestration tool
Python Experience with data warehousing
Strong SQL skills
