A Snapshot of Your Day The growing number of decentralized renewables is making it much more difficult to ensure reliable and stable grid operation. Flexible AC Transmission Systems (FACTS) are the perfect solution for increasing the reliability of AC grids, ensuring stability, and boosting transmission efficiency. Siemens Energy supports customers around the world with innovative FACTS solutions to help them master the challenges of energy transitions. But honestly, we can’t do it alone. How You’ll Make an Impact - You will develop FACTS turnkey projects from the first idea in customers mind till successful signature.
- You will carry out pre-qualifications and provide budget offers.
- You will prepare the sales strategy for projects including pricing.
- Close cooperation with associated engineering, tender, commercial and project execution departments is the key to develop a tailored concept to the customers’ requirements as the basis for a successful project development.
- You will be in the lead to negotiate and successfully close the contracts together with our commercial sales responsible.
- During the whole time, you will build up and maintain relationships by making visits to our customers' decision makers. You will also cooperate with our regional organization, which providing local sales support and customer intimacy
- You will work primarily with customers in Middle East with the additional possibility to enrich your experience with other areas of the world.
What You Bring- Master degree or equivalent experience in electrical engineering or industrial engineering, preferably with a focus on high-voltage engineering
- Sales experience in electrical energy transmission business, preferably in turnkey solution area.
- Technical knowledge in the field of FACTS, in particular synchronous condensers or STATCOM, are an absolute plus. Expertise about the electrical design of generators is also beneficial.
- Willingness for international travel and visits to customers plant sites as well as experience in leading teams to prepare offers across country borders.
- Comfortable in presenting in front of customers and internal top management.
- You have previous working experience with Middle East
- Proficient in English and Arabic. German language skills are a huge plus. French skills will be a plus.
