Job Highlights

Drive the transformation of LANXESS and be part of the team developing the group strategy
Preparation of analyzes and presentations for the board of directors and supervisory board
Heading or participating in strategy projects in cross-functional/ international project teams
Preparation of analyzes regarding global trends and assessment of their significance with regard to the chemical industry and LANXESS
Screening and evaluation of potential M&A targets as well as of portfolio measures
Selection and guidance of external consultants and internal experts in strategy projects

Requirements

Completed education in natural sciences with a focus on strategy
Relevant chemical industry and strategy process experience
Several years of experience in a major strategy consultancy, or marketing, product management, technical sales in a major chemical company
Preferably with international experience and an international mindset
High level of analytical capabilities, accurate work, ability to process and present complex relationships in a way that is tailored to the target group
Strategic/entrepreneurial thinking
Unifier mindset, strong social skills to cater diverse set of stakeholder
Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
