SAP Basis Inhouse Lead

We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Inhouse Lead to take ownership of SAP system architecture, operations, and optimization within a cutting-edge automotive environment. Position Overview:

As the SAP Basis Inhouse Lead, you will be responsible for the administration, maintenance, and optimization of the company’s SAP landscape. You will lead SAP Basis operations, manage system performance, and oversee technical upgrades while ensuring seamless integration across modules. Collaborating with internal teams and external service providers, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and improving SAP system performance.

• SAP System Management: Oversee and manage the entire SAP Basis landscape, ensuring high availability and system performance.

• Technical Upgrades & Maintenance: Plan and execute SAP system upgrades, patches, and migrations to S/4HANA and other SAP solutions.

• Performance Optimization: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions to optimize SAP infrastructure.

• Security & Compliance: Ensure SAP security, authorization management, and compliance with IT standards and regulations.

• Integration & Collaboration: Work closely with SAP functional teams, IT infrastructure, and external service providers to ensure seamless system integration.

• Cloud & Hybrid Environments: Manage SAP Basis operations in both on-premise and cloud-based environments, leveraging modern SAP technologies.

• Project Leadership: Lead SAP Basis-related projects, including system transitions, performance enhancements, and cloud migrations.

• User Support & Documentation: Provide expert-level support to internal users and document best practices for system maintenance.

• Educational Background: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Professional Experience: Proven experience as an SAP Basis Consultant, Administrator, or Lead, preferably in the automotive industry.

• Technical Expertise: Deep knowledge of SAP Basis operations, system architecture, and performance optimization.

• S/4HANA Knowledge: Experience with SAP S/4HANA migrations, cloud platforms, and hybrid SAP environments is a plus.

• Security & Compliance: Strong understanding of SAP security, authorization management, and IT compliance regulations.

• Project Management Skills: Ability to lead technical projects, manage stakeholders, and drive SAP system improvements.

• Communication & Leadership: Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners.

• Language Requirements: Minimum B2-level German and fluent English.
