A leading fintech company with a full German banking license is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to strengthen its team. The company provides Banking-as-a-Service solutions, enabling businesses to integrate financial products via APIs.
Your Role:
- Independent execution of non-IT audits, including report preparation and coordination with business units
- Participation in the review and assurance of the internal control system, compliance, and process efficiency
- Analysis and evaluation of the internal control system and organizational processes
- Independent follow-up on internal and external audit findings
- Support for internal projects in accordance with MaRisk/KWG
What You Bring:
- 5+ years of experience in auditing banking regulatory requirements (MaRisk, KWG/GWG)
- Degree in law, finance, economics, or a related field
- Experience as an auditor or consultant in audit techniques (ToD, ToE)
- Strong knowledge of regulatory standards
- Resilience, quick comprehension, and high self-motivation
- Fluency in English, German is a plus
