The position involves conducting audits within the trading division, focusing on compliance, risk management, and operational efficiency in front office activities. It requires strong analytical skills to assess trading practices and ensure adherence to regulatory standards while contributing to the overall integrity and performance of trading operations.
Location: Frankfurt or Hamburg
Home office: 2 days / week.
Tasks
Evaluate governance, internal control, and risk management structures for effectiveness.
Perform quality reviews of team members’ audit work.
Present audit findings, assessments, and recommendations clearly to auditees and management.
Track the implementation of audit recommendations.
Actively enhance audit methodologies.
Support ongoing monitoring, risk assessment, and internal audit initiatives.
Profile
Degree in business, economics, IT, mathematics, law, or a similar field.
Background in internal audit, risk management, compliance, control functions, external audit, or consulting, ideally within financial services.
Experience working with trading floor, from office and market risk
Familiarity with relevant laws and standards (e.g., KWG, MaRisk, EBA guidelines).
Fluent English (written and spoken), with German as a plus.
Data analysis experience or strong interest (e.g., SAS, R, Python, IDEA).
Open to limited travel within Germany and nearby EU countries.
Eager to explore new areas and refine audit practices.
Ability to analyze, simplify, and present complex information effectively.
