Job Description

As a Key Account Manager – Automotive Industry (m/f/x), you will focus on building and maintaining long-term relationships with our key clients in the automotive sector. Your role will involve identifying opportunities for cloud solutions, AI applications, and managed services, ensuring client satisfaction, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Relationship Management: Serve as the primary point of contact for our automotive clients developing and maintaining trusted partnerships.
  • Client Needs Assessment: Understand client challenges and needs, proposing tailored solutions that combine cloud, AI, and nearshore capabilities.
  • Solution Selling: Communicate the value of Devoteam’s offerings, including cloud infrastructure, application modernization, cybersecurity, data analytics, and nearshore services.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand our presence and revenue within key accounts.
  • Nearshore Expertise: Advocate for and leverage nearshore delivery models to provide cost-effective, high-quality solutions for clients.
  • Proposal Management: Develop detailed proposals and deliver presentations to key stakeholders.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to align solutions with client requirements and ensure high-quality delivery.
  • Market Insights: Monitor trends in cloud technologies, nearshore services, and the automotive industry to anticipate client needs and adapt strategies.
  • Performance Tracking: Achieve and exceed account-specific sales targets and objectives.

Qualifications

  • Experience: min. 5–7 years in account management or IT solution sales, with a strong focus on cloud technologies, managed services, and nearshore delivery models.
  • Industry Expertise: Knowledge of the automotive sector, specifically in working with major clients in the Stuttgart Area.
  • Nearshore Knowledge: Proven experience in selling or managing nearshore delivery services to optimize client outcomes.
  • Cloud Expertise: Familiarity with AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, as well as managed service concepts.
  • Client-Centric Approach: Proven ability to build and sustain long-term client relationships.
  • Languages: Fluent in German and English; additional languages are an advantage.
  • Skills: Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with a strategic and analytical mindset.
