• Lead and inspire the team in the Development and Design department, being

responsible for its strategic, organizational, technological, and personnel growth.

• Oversee the optimization and digitization of departmental processes and interfaces.

• Drive market-oriented innovations and improvements for our product range.

• Conduct feasibility analyses and collaborate with other leadership teams to develop solutions.

• Lead and actively contribute to development projects.

• Identify and implement emerging technological trends and products.

• Provide support and advisory services to internal departments.

• Report directly to management.

• Coordinate the registration and implementation of new patents and manage existing ones.

• A technical degree in fields such as mechanical engineering, process engineering, or a related discipline.

• Several years of professional and leadership experience in product development, ideally within the metal and/or plastics industries.

• An entrepreneurial mindset with a cross-disciplinary approach to problem-solving and decision-making.

• Strong communication skills, a hands-on approach, and a structured, independent working style.

• Open to new ideas, with a strong focus on market and customer needs.

• Proficient in CAD, ERP system knowledge, ideally in ProAlpha.

• Fluent in both German and English.
