Our main production location and the place where Capri-Sun was born more than 50 years ago, is our Eppelheim manufacturing site. We are now looking to strengthen the Eppelheim team with a strong and committed finance professional in the role of Eppelheim Site Financial Controller.

Scope and Impact

The Eppelheim Site Financial Controller role is a manager role responsible for our largest manufacturing site in Eppelheim, with the key deliverable of cost competitive conversion cost and business partnership to continuously improve operational efficiency. You will build strong relationships with local and global supply chain teams to ensure seamless collaboration and effective delivery of financial plans. You will lead site performance management through clear metrics, and support initiatives to improve productivity, working capital, and ROI.

The role involves directly leading two controllers, indirectly overseeing one, and working within a matrix structure, reporting to the Head of Group Supply Chain Finance while collaborating with local and global teams.

Responsibilities - What you will do with us

  • You will deliver cost competitive conversion cost and you will business partner the site leader to continuously improve operational efficiency. The financial controller is a key member of the Eppelheim site leadership team
  • You will own variance analysis between standard and actual costs for the site, ensuring accurate reporting and provide actionable insights
  • You will support local supply chain leadership in decision making processes to drive productivity, working capital optimization, and cost-saving initiatives
  • You will oversee the preparation of the site’s annual budget, ensure governance of rolling forecasts throughout the year, actively engage in intra year planning updates to align with evolving business conditions whilst adhering to the Group FP&A planning framework
  • You will manage the financial governance of capital projects, ensuring adherence to approved budgets and maximizing ROI
  • You will lead the team’s analysts and foster strong collaboration with operations and the group

Profile - What will help you succeed in this role

  • University degree in business administration, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering or a comparable education
  • 8+ years of practical experience in controlling, with a focus on business partnership and operational support
  • Proven track record in supporting decision-making through with financial analysis, driving cost savings and business cases for capex and productivity projects in supply chain
  • Strong analytical skills, proficiency in SAP (CO, PCA), a data-driven mindset, advanced MS Office skills, and a process-oriented approach.
  • An agile mindset, thriving in a highly dynamic environment and excited by the challenge of improving foundational processes
  • Mandatory fluency in German and English, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • A highly motivated team player and leader with a positive and can-do attitude
