Gerresheimer Peachtree City L.P. was established in 1993 in Peachtree City, GA, as part of the Plastics & Devices Division manufacturing and assembling a variety of precision molded plastic parts for various applications in the medical industry. The subsidiary operates in an 132 K sq. ft. production facility with 380 employees. 

Job Description

Tasks & Objectives

  • Planning, execution, monitoring, and further development of training and study programs in close collaboration with departments and educational partners
  • Supervision of assigned apprentices, dual students and trainees (including regular feedback & personnel discussions)
  • Evaluate skills gaps in operations and development of tailored shopfloor trainings
  • Planning and execution of all measures for attracting young talent (e.g. interviews, job fairs, presentations at events etc.)
  • Building and maintaining networks with educational partners, such as high schools and technical colleges, to recruit young talent.
  • Internal and external networking with stake and shareholders, such as operations, local management, Chambers of Commerce etc.

Qualifications

  • German dual degree or similar, as well as at least three years of work experience in a modern production environment and initial work experience in dual training programs based on the German Model
  • Preferably certified trainer for dual vocational training (AdA or AdA International)
  • Self-orientated working style with high communicational ability
  • Open minded for new developments in the field of worked based trainings
  • Understanding for shopfloor requirements & technical understanding
