Your tasks:
Lead the Controlling, Business Intelligence, and Analytics departments, directly contributing to the company's success.
Act as a key advisor to the executive board and business unit heads on strategy development (together with corporate development) and resource allocation.
Provide thought leadership on strategy, business models, and operations to improve company performance.
Actively drive performance (financial and non-financial) by setting ambitious targets, providing steering-relevant transparency and analytical insights, and identifying and promoting initiatives with significant performance impact.
Effectively manage cross-company planning and performance management processes.
Your skills:
Minimum of 10 years of relevant professional experience in Controlling, BI and Analytics.
At least 7 years of leadership responsibility within a company, particularly in Controlling, closely aligned with strategy and business.
Ability to make strategy, operations, and performance explicitly manageable through steering-relevant non-financial KPIs and driver models.
Preferred industry experience in online and marketplace models, with a focus on growth rather than consolidation.
Strong vertical and horizontal leadership skills:
Vertical: Oversee three senior department heads (BI, Analytics and Controlling) and manage approximately 45 FTEs.
Horizontal: Communicate effectively with executives and unit heads, recognized as a thought leader, and lead from a cross-functional perspective.
